Class 1 & 2 CPD - Real Estate 2026 - 2027

Class 2 Licence

Class 2 agents must complete:

Every compulsory topic for each licence category they hold.
Every compulsory topic for each real estate area in which they actually operate.
Interactive training delivered by an approved provider.
An assessment activity as part of the training.

CPD records retained for at least three years

Class 1 Licence

Class 1 agents complete the same compulsory topics and hours as Class 2 agents, plus:

A NSW Fair Trading-accredited forum relevant to each licence category held.
AUSTRAC real estate AML training where they work in a relevant area of practice, once the final delivery arrangements are released.
If acting as Licensee-in-Charge, all CPD included in the agency’s training plan.

Relevant AML areas are residential sales, buyers agency, commercial real estate, business broking and stock and station.

The accredited forum and AUSTRAC course should be shown as separate requirements and should not be included in Brighten’s standard seven-hour course price unless Brighten is specifically authorised to provide them.
