CPD - Stock & Station

This course is suitable for Class 1 and Class 2 licensed real estate agents working in the stock & station sector in NSW.

Agents working across multiple areas of practice must complete the compulsory topics relevant to each area. A shared topic does not need to be repeated where all required learning outcomes have already been met.

• Interactive Webinar (Trainer-Led): Students attend live online classes facilitated by a trainer using video conferencing software. Sessions include presentations, demonstrations, discussions and opportunities to ask questions in real time. Participation in these sessions is compulsory and students are required to keep their cameras on for the entire duration of the session in order to successfully complete the training.
• Classroom (Face-to-Face): Students attend scheduled classes at a training venue where learning is delivered by a trainer in person. These interactive sessions include presentations, practical activities, group discussions and assessment support. 

Class 1 agents must also complete NSW Fair Trading-accredited event training in addition to the CPD required for their area of practice.

Class 1 agents working in commercial real estate will also be required to complete AUSTRAC’s real estate AML training. Further guidance will be provided once AUSTRAC’s delivery arrangements are finalised.

After successfully completing the required training, you will receive evidence of completion for your CPD records.

Class 1 and Class 2 licence holders must retain their CPD records for three years.

Refresh your understanding of the laws, procedures and professional responsibilities that apply when preparing for and conducting residential property auctions.

Contracts

Strengthen your understanding of contracts used in residential sales, including the agent’s responsibilities when managing offers, disclosures, documentation and the sales process.

Safety risk management

Develop your understanding of how to identify, assess and manage safety risks within real estate practice.

Supervision Guidelines and AML/CTF in agency practice

Understand supervision responsibilities within a commercial agency and prepare for anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing obligations affecting real estate transactions.
