Assistant agents in NSW must complete at least three eligible units from the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice during each CPD year. Unlike standard CPD training, these are nationally recognised units that contribute towards the qualification required to apply for a Class 2 Real Estate Agent Licence.

Who should attend?

Modes of Delivery

Online Self-Paced: Students complete the course independently through the online learning platform, progressing at their own pace within the course duration. Learning materials, assessments and support are available online.
Virtual (Trainer-Led): Students attend live online classes facilitated by a trainer using video conferencing software. Sessions include presentations, demonstrations, discussions and opportunities to ask questions in real time.
Classroom (Face-to-Face): Students attend scheduled classes at a training venue where learning is delivered by a trainer in person. Sessions include presentations, practical activities, group discussions and assessment support.

Types of CPD packages

3-Unit CPD Package

Complete the minimum number of units required for your annual Assistant Agent CPD. This option is ideal if you want to stay compliant while progressing steadily towards your Certificate IV.

5-Unit CPD Package

Complete more of your Certificate IV sooner. This option is ideal for motivated assistant agents who want to accelerate their studies, strengthen their industry knowledge and move closer to becoming eligible for a Class 2 Licence.

Eligible additional units completed during the CPD year may be carried forward and counted towards a future CPD year.

Completion/Certification

After successfully completing your selected package, you will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment issued by Brighten Institute Australia (RTO 41148). It will list each unit of competency you have successfully completed.

These units can contribute towards the CPP41419 Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice. As you complete further eligible units, you can continue building towards the full qualification required for a Class 2 Real Estate Agent Licence in NSW.
