Course Overview

BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management is suited for individuals who are currently involved in small or large projects and are seeking to gain and apply project management skills.

Individuals will be equipped with the skillset to effectively and successfully lead a project from start to finish, including developing growth strategies, restructuring teams, and applying solutions to a range of obstacles that may arise throughout the process.

Modes of Delivery

This course may be offered in a variety of formats:

Online: Regular scheduled training sessions will be conducted by trainers through Zoom in this learning mode, which is similar to face-to-face instruction but on an online platform and allows for flexibility in the students' learning.
Blended: Due to the hybrid nature of this mode, students will have more flexibility to conduct the course at their own pace. Learners will be required to attend online sessions and face-to-face workshops to conduct training and assessment.

Entry Requirements

Although there are not any formal prerequisites for this course, students must:

have completed a minimum of Year 10 or equivalent
undertake an online LLN assessment prior to the commencement of the program
have access to a reliable internet connection, a PC, laptop or tablet computer with camera access for Zoom (or other video call technology) interaction
have access to word processing software such as Microsoft Office suite

To gain a full qualification, a total of twelve units must be completed comprising of eight core and four elective units.

Career Opportunities

Completion/Certification

Students who successfully complete all 12 units of competency will be issued with a BSB50820 Diploma of Project Management. Students who successfully complete some units of competency will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for the unit(s) in which they have been deemed competent. Successful completion of this course may gain recognition towards an Advanced Diploma and/or Degree in Business.
