Workshop Overview

A two-day workshop designed to give you the real-world knowledge and skills needed to work in the NSW hospitality industry, and to give you the edge over the competition when it comes to scoring a job! The course was created by industry veterans with over 50 years of combined experience, ensuring that what you learn is authentic, accurate and relevant. Delivered by legitimate hospitality experts currently working in venues, the Hospitality Professional workshop gives you real “insider information” to help you stand out from the pack when applying for a job.

In the workshop, you will learn about the local industry and what they are looking for in potential employees, get an introduction to customer service, learn restaurant / food and drink service skills, basic bar skills, how to make classic cocktails, and how to get the best jobs!

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

There are no entry requirements for the qualification. However, a short LLN assessment must first be completed by all participants to ensure the workshop is suitable for their needs.

COMPLETION / CERTIFICATION

At the conclusion of the workshop, participants will be issued a Hospitality Professional Workshop Certificate of Competency in the following acquired skills: Bar, Food & Beverage Service, Coffee, Classic Cocktails, and Guest Service.
