Course overview

Diploma of Business qualification will enhance learner skills with the managerial capabilities needed to develop and oversee effective business systems. The knowledge and skills to be gained from this course will be applicable across a variety of industry sectors.
It is suitable for anyone looking to gain solid knowledge across a range of core business functions, for individuals who are looking to expand on their existing skills, and for those who want to start their own business.
Diploma of Business course is suited to individuals who have the passion and drive to increase their career opportunities in business, including Small Business Owners, Entrepreneurs and new entrants to the corporate business career pathway.

Entry requirements

To be eligible to enrol into this course, learner must:

  • be 18 years old or older
  • ensure the stable network connection through any type of devices including PCs, laptops, tablet PCs and smartphones (apply for distance learners)
  • Upon acceptance of your enrolment, you will be required to complete the electronic Language, Literacy, and Numeracy (LLN) assessment.

Duration

Maximum study duration of 12 months.

Mode of delivery

  • Face to Face learning: traditional classroom-based learning at the designated training location.
    (Location: L5, 12-14 O’Connell St, Sydney NSW 2000)
  • Distance/online learning: digital classroom based that includes self-directed learning

Assessment methods

Summative assessments may include written/oral questions, practical/observational assessments, and project works with discussion

Completion / Certification

Students who successfully complete all 8 units of competency as stated in the Course Structure will be issued with BSB50215 Diploma of Business. Students who successfully complete some units of competency will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for the nationally accredited unit(s) in which they have been deemed competent.

This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
