Brighten Institute Australia is approved to offer training for eligible students for three target areas:
- Prevocational training
- Pre-apprenticeship and pre-traineeship training
- Priority groups and industries
NSW State Training Services may offer subsidised training only in circumstances where an individual or industry has no other source of funding available.
What is Prevocational Training?
Prevocational training is targeted to help individuals to get a job or continue training to achieve a full qualification.

There are two priority areas for part qualifications:
- Priority groups
- Priority industries
What is Pre-apprenticeship and pre-traineeship training?
This training is targeted to help individuals gain an apprenticeship or traineeship. For more details, please click here.
- Face to face learning
Face-to-face education involves traditional classroom learning. Students who study at a face-to-face learning at BIA’s campuses will attend classes daily. Classes vary from early morning to afternoon lessons

- Distance/Online Learning
Online learning is a type of “distance learning” - the umbrella term for any learning that takes place across distance and not in a traditional classroom. Various modes of Distance/Online learning can be describes as: computer-based training, Web-based training, Internet based training, online training, e-learning (electronic learning), m-learning (mobile learning), computer-aided distance education - online education
